FLASH YOUR NOKIA SYMBIAN PHONE

HIIIIIIIIIIIII guys THIS POST TELLS YOU HOW TO FLASH YOUR NOKIA SYMBIAN PHONE USING JAF

TOOLS REQUIRED

1. 1st YOU NEED TO Download the necessary nokia flash tools which include
JAF SETUP,JAF PKEY EMULATOR(JAF CRACK),JAF-NOK4MODELS

2)INSTALL JAF

STEPS OF FLASHING 

3. Get the C6\N97 Custom FW (CFW) which you want flash.
4. A CFW usually contain 3 files (Core + Rofs2 + UDA)
5. Place CFW 3 files in C:\Program Files\Nokia\phoenix\products\RM-XXX\ (You need
to create there this path )
(RM-XXX means your RM. It may be RM-625 etc. Then make the folder as 'RM-625' ;
For knowing your RM, Remove your phone battery & see under it.)
6. Copy the downloaded Pkey Emulator to C:\program files\ODEOD\JAF\

7. Run PKEY Emulator

              Windows 7 user's needs to do this for fixing Pkey Emulator error
1) Right click on Pkey Emulator & select Properties,
2) Click on 'Compaitibilty',
3) Select the satement 'Run This Program In Compaitibilty'
4) Select 'Ok'.







8. Click OK on the dialog that appears, then When J.A.F will start

9. Go to 'BB5'tab
10. Make it look exactly like the picture below
(Tick - Manual Flash, Dead USB, Factory Set, Normal mode) (Untick - 'CRT 308'

         11. First rename Core file, .C00 to .C0r & then manually select this files
1) MCU : C0r
2) PPM : rofs2
3) CNT : rof3 (Only use it when you want to flash your phone with OFW)
4) APE : uda

                  12. Turn OFF your phone, Remove the memory card and connect phone to the computer
via USB Data Cable.
13. Click on Flash
14. Then Click YES when a dialog appears like on the picture below

15. Then press phone's "Power Button" for 1 second (You can hear the device connected
Sound.) and release it.
16. Flashing Procedure will start..
17. Then after 1 min it will say DONE!,
18. Remove phone from usb cable & Now enjoy your phone with CFW


Finish...happy flashing and dont forget to +1 techworld
